Summer Garden Party

A Record-Breaking Centennial Celebration!

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our donors, this year’s Summer Garden Party was record-breaking and the most successful yet! Together, we raised over $250,000 and met our $100,000 match goal, making it a double success in one unforgettable evening.

In addition to the evening’s success, we proudly closed out our 100 for $100,000 Campaign, reaching an extraordinary $1 million in honor of the Marginal Way’s Centennial year.

That evening, we were honored to present the Town of Ogunquit with a check for $285,750.83—in addition to the $604,947.31 provided earlier this year—helping lift the financial burden of critical repairs from Ogunquit taxpayers.

We were also delighted to sponsor this year’s Plein Air event with a $1,000 award for Best Depiction of the Marginal Way, further celebrating the artists who capture the beauty of this iconic path. Special thanks go to the Ogunquit River Painters for their generous contributions and to everyone who helped make the evening such a resounding success.

This once-in-a-lifetime celebration was a wonderful way to honor the Marginal Way’s Centennial year—and to continue Josiah Chase’s vision of preserving this treasured coastal landmark for generations to come.

All donations pledged to this year’s event will be considered unrestricted and will be used to preserve and enhance the Marginal Way, as well as to support the essential operations that sustain its mission.
