Leaving a legacy for generations to come

The Marginal Way Preservation Fund is dedicated to ensuring the preservation, protection, and enhancement of the Marginal Way - a treasured coastal path in Ogunquit, Maine. Our mission is to safeguard the Marginal Way for generations to come by raising funds for necessary repairs, maintenance, and improvement projects. Through community outreach, education, and advocacy, we aim to inspire and engage the public to connect with and appreciate the natural beauty of this coastal landmark while supporting efforts to maintain it for all to enjoy.

The same natural forces that make the Marginal Way unique and breathtaking have also caused serious damage. Destruction by repeated storms has cost millions of dollars to repair. In order to keep the Marginal Way safe and accessible to its many followers, we are relying on donors like you for support to support the fund and provide financial assistance to the Town of Ogunquit for repairs.

Leave a Lasting Legacy

As a way of building our endowment fund to help protect the Marginal Way from future storm damage and erosion, we are offering plaque inscriptions on ten plaques with 25 inscriptions on each plaque. A total of ten bronze plaques will be placed at Serenity Point, a special site along the Marginal Way, with each plaque recognizing 25 people and/or families.
